Work delayed due to ... work

My working as a quilter sort of dropped away over the past month, but I have not given up on it. I will get back to working on my quilting and other handicrafts - hopefully I can get back into the bookbinding even. I just have a lot of other things going on in my life at the moment that has caused my quilting business to get a bit shelved until things get taken care of - such as the house heater getting repaired so that we have hot water again. That is really really starting to bother me, having the heating system down. I plan to drop into the basement tonight and remove the burner unit so that I can go over it using the technical specs sheets I found online - hopefully I can get that thing to working again. I certainly can't afford a repairman or a new system

Back to work

I don't really want to work, but it is one of those necessary evils in life that one simply can not avoid. So, I have started working on my websites and getting them all back up and going smoothly. We'll see just how long I can maintain them at a steady pace, but I do have high hopes for keeping up with things this time. I don't see where anyone should be able to dislodge me from my groove this time.

I have set aside the quilting I was working on, simply because when I went down to Washington for a week the start of this month I had thought someone was going to stay here taking care of the house so at the last minute I shoved all the clutter into my sewing room. Still have not got that excavated, so it will be a couple of days before I get that done. As soon as I get that all set back up, however, I will be diving right back into my sewing projects. Sewing helps my hands recover from the pain of working on the computer all day. I had not realized just how much it was helping until I have gone a couple weeks now without being able to sew for a while after a day of working at the computer.

Pause for vacation

Things are going to be put on hold for a little while so that I can go to Washington on a vacation to watch one of my nephews graduate from high school. I will be back to work as soon as I am able to, but am taking a brief break from working to hopefully recharge and dive back in full force when I am able to get back to things.
