Out of the home tip #1: traveling office
Getting out and about is most of the fun of living in Alaska, and I assume that no matter where you live you would prefer to take your work at home job out of the home as often as possible and work in the yard or out at a park or wherever.
With this in mind I present the out of the home tips.
Tip number one: buy a small briefcase or, if you are into crafts and need more room, an old suitcase and outfit it with a few necessities of your business. A pad of paper, pens, maybe a small box of stuff for your craft projects (clay, beads, yarn, sewing stuff, whatever). Keep this traveling workspace where it will be fast and easy to grab and go with only minimal additions for your current project.
I'll come up with more out of the home tips and publish them as I come up with them.
