The marketing speaker that put Half.com on the map [paid post]

Okay, hold on a minute here. Have you heard of Half.com? No, not the website, I'm talking about the city in Oregon! Seems like the marketing ploy of the century and this fellow pulled it off - convincing the town of Halfway Oregon to change its name to Half.com Oregon!

Hell, according to his website even Time magazine called it "'one of the greatest publicity coups' in history."

I'd say if you need a marketing speaker, then this is the guy to talk to about it - he's on the professional speaker circuit. Or you could read what he has to say - he's written a book on buzz marketing and how he pulled off the Half.com trick.
