Tricks of the work at home trade

Making working at home feel more like a business and less like a part time hobby is not always easy. I have heard of tricks ranging from someone that got dressed in a three piece suit and tie and rode the elevator to the basement of their apartment building where they worked all day before going back home, to people that had their telephones disconnected so they could work in peace. (Both were writers btw)

Whatever tricks you use, the important part is in getting your work done. My trick, that does not always work, is to move into the basement and wake p at 3 a.m. to work.
