Work At Home Ideas: Ironing
Here's an idea I never would have thought up, but that makes sense after you think about it, for a home business. Ironing.
Yup, ironing. I was looking over a forum for working at home and in their business ideas section there was a post about ironing and it seems that there are quite a few people that are making good money ironing stuff for others. Who'd have thunk it?
The setup for such a business seems to be fairly easy, just get a place where you can do your ironing. (I suggest smoke and pet free to be sure that you don't cause someone's allergies to act up.) You of course need to be at least proficient with how to properly iron something and the right way to fold and/or hang clothes after they have been ironed. Cleaning stains would be a good addition to the ironing, but I'm not sure that would be a necessity.
Oh, and don't accept any jobs from judges, we all know by now I am sure just how expensive it can be to loose a pair of judge's pants. ::snort:: Take a lesson from that and make sure that you have something set up to keep you from being sued exorbitant amounts of money for something happening to someone's best suit or a woman's wedding dress or whatever.
People seem to be offering pickup and delivery for their services, which is a nice plus but not essential. I'd suggest not forgetting gas costs and wear and tear on the car if you offer pickup and delivery.
