Thumb drive storage for backups

I have decided that I am going to be backing up my novels, and other important paperwork stuff, and keeping it all on thumb drives put away in my safe. It just makes sense to have a backup just in case something happens. That way the things are safe and ready to be restored if something happens to my computer.

I've also got plans to one day pick up a 4 gb thumb drive that I can drop a backup of my entire computer onto, for now I am getting 512 MB thumb drives to make backups of my novels and other important writing stuff (like tax records, and business receipts etc).
